It’s no secret that I am a Pitch Perfect fanatic. The acapella world is one I know very little about, but I do know Pitch Perfect is my movie.
Over the weekend, I went and seen part 2. I was contempt with the execution of the film. The storyline was a bit cheesy for my taste, but the music as always was very enjoyable.
As the girls deal with Senior Year and being booted from being able to perform, the film deals with their struggle to have their own identity, preparing for life after college and of course, aiming towards winning the un-winnable competition.
Let me say this, they worked waaaaaaaaaay too hard trying to give everyone a close to their story. The movie dragged at points but overall I will give it the DiamondKesawn Stamp of Approval. I will say, take a friend with you so you all can laugh together.
My favorite scene award goes to Ester Dean. When the girls are laying side by side in the tent and bust out with the….. Just pay attention to the film, I promise you can’t miss it.
