Actress, New York Times best-selling author, and co-host of iHeart’s Webby award-winning Dead Ass podcast (now Ellis Ever After), Khadeen Indréa is set to star in the newest series from Tyler Perry Studios, Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas. The first episode will premiere Monday, June 9, the day of the BET Awards, and will be available to stream on BET+ Tuesday, June 10.

Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas follows five close friends — Geneva (Khadeen Indréa), Rasheda (LeToya Luckett), Naomi (Porscha Coleman), Tiffany (Briana Price), and Bridgette (Jennifer Sears) — as they navigate life, love, and the challenges that come with divorce, marriage and dating. As they lean on each other through heartbreak and healing, their biggest test comes from within their own circle, challenging their loyalty, character, and true bond of sisterhood.

The announcement comes on the heels of Khadeen’s recent re-launch of her podcast Ellis Ever After, which she co-hosts with her husband, Devale Ellis (Meet Me Next Christmas, Sistas, Zatima). After 15 seasons, Ellis Ever After will continue to follow Khadeen and Devale Ellis, while acknowledging their evolution as podcast hosts, actors, and parents. This new chapter of the podcast will highlight their growth as a couple and family, while diving into the exciting milestones, challenges, and transformations that have shaped their journey since the podcast first began.

Khadeen is also a co-producer alongside her husband Devale for the Broadway production of Othello, starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, which has broken box office records as the highest grossing play revival in history. The power couple are also co-authors of the New York Times best-selling relationship book We Over Me: The Counterintuitive Approach to Getting Everything You Want from Your Relationship.

You can tune in to new episodes of the Ellis Ever After podcast every week on Wednesdays, and catch Khadeen on Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas. The first episode will premiere Monday, June 9, the day of the BET Awards, and will be available to stream on BET+ Tuesday, June 10.

Khadeen Indréa is an actress, author and co-host of iHeart’s Webby-award-winning podcast, Dead Ass with Khadeen & Devale – now Ellis Ever After. She is a series lead in the new BET+ series, Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas.
