See you at the 4th annual QueerX Festival

Premiere queer global streaming network, Revry, is proud to present the 4th annual QueerX festival May 31st – June 2nd in West Hollywood, California. Formerly known as Out Web Fest, QueerX is the intersection of music, film, and industry.  Today, QueerX announces its 2019 Program lineup as well as the star-studded opening night concert headliners. The festival features luminaries in the LGBTQ and media influencer communities with concerts, screenings, industry speaker panels, parties, the Powerhouse Industry Pitchfest and the Revry Visibility Awards.

Tickets Available Now at: www.queerx.com

The festival kicks off Friday night with an exclusive industry party and concert at the iconic Whisky A Go Go headlined by Brooke Candy with her special guests, along with Jordy, Davy Boi, DJ Lina Bradford and a suprise artist making her first LA concert appearance.  The first 100 Weekend Passes have access to the exclusive industry party and concert.   “I’m so thrilled to be headlining QueerX’s Opening Night at the Whiskey A Go Go,” says, Brooke Candy.  “I love that QueerX promotes music and film creators, giving them these incredible venues to be seen in and celebrated by fans and amazing industry folk.  I’ve got some special guests joining me and we’re going to shut it down!”

QueerX continues Saturday and Sunday at the London Hotel West Hollywood with its competition screenings and industry panels, concluding with the Revry Visibility Awards and closing night party.  Throughout the weekend, QueerX also hosts its annual Powerhouse Industry Pitchfest, giving creators the rare opportunity to pitch projects one-on-one to top producers and production companies.

QueerX is a one-of-a-kind festival celebrating the world of brilliant digital content, created by and for the global queer community.  QueerX breaks the mold of other festivals by giving prominence to honest and unfiltered digital short-form storytelling like this year’s GLAAD Media Award Winner River Gallo’s PONYBOI, the first narrative film created by and starring an out intersex person in the history of cinema (produced by Stephen Fry and Emma Thompson).  “River is just one example of the vast array of incredible artists that QueerX highlights,” says Revry CEO, Damian Pelliccione.  “The festival pushes boundaries the same way our community does by fostering connection and empowering queer voices.  QueerX aims to create a space where artists, industry professionals and enthusiasts alike can connect while exploring the future of queer entertainment.”

This year QueerX is happy to announce two extraordinary International Audience Award prizes: one ticket for travel, accommodations and entry into Rio Web Fest in beautiful Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the second prize gives two tickets for travel and accommodations to Spain.  Past awardees, industry participants, and sponsors include Tyler Oakley, Gigi Gorgeous, Dan Reynolds, LoveLoud, Tegan and Sara, Hannah Hart, Ari Fitz, Bebe Zahara Benet, Amber’s Closet, Viacom, EOne, IFC, Funny or Die, Brian Graden Media, Seed&Spark, Adaptive Studios and Powderkeg Media.

Industry panels and Powerhouse Industry Pitchfest judges to be announced in May…plus more Screenings & Visibility Award Winners!
