For those of you that haven’t heard, there are many awesome Georgia cities outside of Atlanta. My hometown of Athens is one of those cities. Athens is well known for its local music scene, exciting nightlife, and of course its love of Georgia Football.

There are many bars and nightclubs in Athens, GA that feature live music performances, open mic nights and karaoke as well as live DJs, Drag Shows, Trivia Nights, Fight Nights, and more. A few weeks ago, The Hedges on Broad was home to an amazing performance by Jana Kramer. Additionally, the day before Halloween, GO Bar is having its “can’t miss” Halloween Show by the Athens Showgirl Cabaret. And on Halloween Night, The Wild Rumpus Parade will make its 7th appearance in the streets of Downtown Athens. The parade concludes at NoWhere Bar for the Official After-Party and Costume Ball.
