Smart Turnout is the brainchild of Founder Philip Turner, who, after spending a decade serving in the Scots Guards, was invited to ride in the Grand Military at Sandown Race Course. After designing his own racing colours he found many of his serving friends so impressed and inspired by his colour choices that he began producing jumpers in his regimental colours for them to wear. This led to the birth of Smart Turnout, a quintessentially British brand in every sense, with a focus on bringing the colours of the military alive in a fashion focused market. From its beginnings in knitwear and apparel Smart Turnout is now widely regarded as the go to watches and accessories brand for gentleman around the globe.
