This Is What the Truth Feels Like — the new album from three-time GRAMMY Award-winning superstar Gwen Stefani — has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart, bowing with 84,000 album equivalent units. The album’s first single, the synth-pop ballad “Used To Love You,”has been certified gold, while its video has racked up more than 14 million YouTube views.
Working with collaborators Justin Tranter, Julia Michaels, Greg Kurstin, JR Rotem, and Stargate, among others, Stefani wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on This Is What The Truth Feels Like. The deeply personal album has been hailed by critics as Stefani’s strongest work to date.
Always pushing boundaries, Stefani teamed up with retailer Target to produce the video for current single “Make Me Like You” — the first music video to be created on live television. Directed by GRAMMY-Award winner Sophie Muller, the action unfolded on CBS during a four-minute commercial break during this year’s Grammy Awards and featured multiple sets and costume changes in real time.
