Atlanta is in for one of the greatest stage plays to ever deal with the real issues of life facing women today. Acclaimed Director, Producer & Actor Lucky Johnson Presents, “When A Woman Loves”.

The fundamentals of this play take you into the lives of three women living and working in the same space and time but existing under very different life circumstances. Does this sound like someone you know? Umm hmm, her too. While working in a Salon/Barber Shop, these women are struggling with significant issues and lean on each other for encouragement and advice. The play touches on serious issues that women are facing today such as HIV, Domestic Violence and Cancer. Secrets, lies and relationship issues are just a few of the concerns of the daily toils and strife of these women. You will laugh, you will cry and you will understand what a woman has to endure…When A Woman Loves”.

Well known actor, producer and writer, Lucky Johnson was born with these gifts in his blood. It’s a family affair, undeniable talent like this runs in the family. As the cousin of well know actor, producer and writer Tyler Perry and cousin Embree Perry (Tyler Perry’s Brother) who is also a Director. Lucky is known for so many film, television shows, commercials, stage plays and basically anything in the film and entertainment industry. His many credits include; movies, 2 Guns, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Contraband, Empire State, and television shows like NCIS New Orleans not to mention his many stage plays like Keep God First and Men, Lies and Secrets and now Lucky brings you When A Woman Loves.

National Recording Artist, Tocarra Hamilton, well-known writer, songstress and queen collaborator, her many credits include her work with Usher on his it single “Daddy’s Home”, Pitbull on “DanceWith Me”, and the single, “No Love” with Rapper and Reality TV Star, Lil Scrappy, the single, “No Love” was also featured on the top running Reality Show, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Also included in this great cast is Mic Ventress. Mic is a young R & B artist with a soulful style. Currently on his second album, he has a huge fan base in New Orleans and Atlanta by performing and marketing his music on the streets! Signed to Kush Kings Entertainment in 2013, to which he is now co-owner of the label. #HeDidThat

This heartwarming stage play takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2015 Atlanta, Georgia at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center, 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30034, The doors open at 6:00pm for the “Red Carpet Experience” from 6:00pm – 6:45pm.
