Who’s ready for Pride in the Park with Iggy Azalea and Steve Aoki

Pride in the Park Chicago

Pride in the Park Chicago is a new, one-day music festival that will be held on Saturday, June 29 1PM-10PM and will add to Chicago’s vibrant Pride Month celebrations. It will be the first-ever LGBTQ music concert or festival hosted in Chicago’s iconic Grant Park, just steps from Buckingham Fountain. Grant Park is right in the heart of downtown Chicago and provides a picture- perfect backdrop of the city’s skyline.

Chicago has some of the biggest and longest-running Pride celebrations in the country, with its annual Chicago Pride Fest and Chicago Pride Parade on the final two weekends of June. In fact, this year will be the 50 th anniversary of the Chicago Pride Parade. Pride in the Park Chicago aims to give Chicagoans and visitors a new opportunity to round out that weekend and join together, enjoy great music, and show their Pride.

A portion of all ticket sales to Pride in the Park Chicago will be donated to the Center on Halsted. Additional contributions will be made to Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago by volunteers from Stonewall Sports Chicago, who will be donating their time working at the festival.

More About The Festival

Pride in the Park Organizer and Dreambrite Presents President Dusty Carpenter said, “We’re thrilled to be hosting the first LGBTQ festival/concert held in Grant Park. We hope to build Pride in the Park into something people travel to Chicago for yearly, and something that will add to the already amazing Chicago Pride experience. The event features a broad range of talent, so there will be something for everyone and we hope attendees may even discover interest in artists they hadn’t known before. You can expect the kind of stage production and light show that you would see at a major EDM festival or rock concert, and the night will wrap up with a music-filled fireworks display.”

Pride in the Park Chicago is excited to partner with DineAmic, one of Chicago’s best restaurant groups, who will be featuring well-known concepts such as Bar SienaPublic House and BomboBar at the festival. All festival menus will consist of plentiful options perfect to fuel you for the weekend ahead.
