The video serves as the first official visual for his critically acclaimed EP. The non-linear series of events allows the audience to put together their own version of the story until the end when all is revealed. Taylor and director Andre Muir developed the concept for the video when thinking about what the worst day ever would be. Taylor became enamored with the idea of robbing a record store and thought the Elvis masks an ode to cultural appropriation on how rock a genre not credited to people of color and now having the opportunity to steal it back.
