Southern New Jersey native, Ashlee Keating, is a songwriter, actress, dancer, model, and rising Pop recording artist. Her professional career began at the age of 3 when she appeared as a series regular on “Al Alberts TV Showcase” on Channel 6 ABC in Philadelphia, PA performing weekly as a featured solo artist. She also performed at several live shows. She appeared on Broadway in The Sound of Music at the age of only 6 as “Gretl Von Trapp” with Richard Chamberlain and continued on for the National Tour. Ashlee also played the leading role of “Annie” at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, PA which broke the box office record. Ashlee continued to play several other leading roles in musicals. She appeared on CBS Star Search at the age of 10 and was a weekly episode winner in the Junior Singer category.
Ashlee released her first EP at the age of 14. Shortly after, she was selected by Radio Disney to be a part of the Incubator Program for up and coming artists. Her songs were played on Radio Disney, and she performed at several live shows. She released her holiday song “Ice Kingdom” in 2013 and was on the Radio Disney top holiday songs charts. This song was selected as part of the Coca Cola’s “52 Songs of Happiness” campaign. Ashlee was a featured performer at the Thanksgiving Day Parade on Channel 6 ABC Philadelphia, PA, on the QVC network’s Old Fashioned Christmas Parade in West Chester PA, and at the holiday tree lighting in Philadelphia, PA. She also has opened for Demi Lovato, Keke Palmer, Raven Symone, Jasmine Sullivan, and others. Ashlee has performed on the “No Bully Tour” across the East Coast promoting an anti-bullying campaign for teens.
In 2015, she released her song “Red Eye” which was the featured song in the independent film “The Mint” in which she also played the leading role of Samantha Cole. Although she is a rising Pop singer, Ashlee showed her diversity and excellent acting skills by playing the role of a country girl in the film. She also had 3 other original songs which appear on the soundtrack for the film including “Road Trippin”,“Small Town Big Dreams”, and “Believe”.
Ashlee has been in the studio writing and recording new music over the past two years. Most recently, she has created a new image and sound for herself and has been working with one of Timbaland’s producer/songwriters, Doug Makuta who is signed to Timbaland’s (Ole-Bluestone Publishing). She is excited to share this with her fans. Only in the past few months, has she discovered her songwriting skills which is evident in her new music and is a true reflection of herself and the sound she has created. Not only has she written a select few songs completely herself, they are REAL and relatable coming from the truths of her life which tell her story. This led to her songwriting process for her future music releases. Ashlee released her solo Pop single “Your Loss Baby” in late summer of 2017. Her original Christmas single, “This Christmas Wish” debuted on national TV on QVC network and on ABC-TV in Philadelphia, PA in December, 2017. Ashlee was the featured performer in West Chester, PA at the Old Fashioned Christmas Parade. This was followed up by the release of her new single, “Hurt Me So Good” in March of 2018, which is climbing the charts. Her music video for “Hurt Me So Good” hit over 100K plays on YouTube in the first 48 hours after being released.
