Now you all know I don’t do Manual Labor…… Nope! He me him will find someone on Craigslist to handle that.
Challenging stereotypes is an unfortunate part of life but luckily, we have people doing that every day — including on the internet. Sometimes it’s inspiring and other times it’s funny, much like BuzzFeed Blue’s recent experiment.
The video, uploaded on Nov. 15 (and contains some NSFW language), tests the fallacy that lesbians are better at building things by having gay men and women compete in building IKEA furniture. “Team Gay Men” had a strategy from the beginning and it was to sing and “copy the lesbians.”
After losing an hour, some blood and a little pride to this challenge, neither team was successful. Incomplete furniture and all, both teams were happy to have a partner helping them along the way. “I think if I was by myself, I don’t think any of this would’ve been done and I would’ve walked away and been like, ’Where’s the vodka?’” one of the men said.
This proves that all stereotypes aside, no one is good at putting IKEA Furniture together. No one. No Shade. Did you see the Ikea Furniture breaking??? Bishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that poly sorbate carbonate fo-wood.
