Famous or not, it’s never easy to watch an ex move on.
Miranda Lambert is experiencing this on a very public level as Blake Shelton takes his romance with Gwen Stefani public, but she’s not letting it bring her down! A source tells E! News exclusively that while knowing Blake and Gwen are “officially together” has been “a bit hard to digest,” Miranda is making the most of single life and her success.
The 31-year-old singer was a big winner last night at the 2015 CMA Awards in Nashville, where she nabbed the award for Female Vocalist of the Year. “She was so happy to win,” says a source. “It lit up her night!”
It “was a bit uncomfortable” for Miranda when co-hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley‘s “dialog [was] poking fun of her and Blake,” but a source says the “Bathroom Sink” songstress was OK with it. “It didn’t really effect her mood,” adds the the source, “because she was just trying focus on her successful win!”
Miranda “had a blast” at the CMAs, and as a source tells E! News exclusively, “She has moved on from Blake and is excited to start the next chapter in her life.”
A source adds the Oklahoma native “is single now and talking to a few people,” noting that she’s “just having fun and not taking anything too seriously!”
Understandably, though, a source says that Miranda “really wants all of this media frenzy to blow over.”
In the meantime, Miranda doesn’t harbor any ill will against her ex. “Blake is just a flirty kind of charmer,” a source tells E! News. “She has nothing against Gwen and thinks she is a very talented artist. Whomever Blake is with she wishes them the best.”
