Dark & Lovely and the NAACP  Present “Securing the Bag: A Financial Aid Guide” 

Leading beauty brand for women of color, Dark & Lovely and the NAACP will host a free, virtual chat for current and incoming college students titled, “Securing the Bag: A Financial Aid Guide” as part of its Mentor Mondays series, TODAY. The series is part of a larger initiative to provide educational and career resources to young women of color, through the Building Beautiful Futures program. 

Join Dark & Lovely and the NAACP for the first installment of their Mentor Monday series, “Securing the Bag: A Financial Aid Guide”! During this 30-minute session, Tanaj Ferguson, Director of Marketing at Dark & Lovely, and Jessica Brown, President of the College Gurl Foundation will break down all that you need to know about financial aid and scholarships ahead of the 2022/2023 school year. They’ll also provide key financial advice for college students and those who have recently graduated. Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a Q&A with the ladies, and there will also be exciting Dark & Lovely prizes given to select, lucky participants.
