Justin Bieber will perform his single “Sorry” from his new smash album, “Purpose.” Coldplay will perform the single “Adventure of a Lifetime” from their new album, “A Head Full of Dreams.” Missy Elliott will make the TV debut of her new single “WTF (Where They From),” with “Voice” coach Pharrell Williams. Sam Hunt will perform his current platinum-selling single, “Break Up in a Small Town” from his debut album “Montevallo.” The Weeknd will perform a medley of his 2015 hits — “The Hills,” “Earned It” and “I Can’t Feel My Face.”

Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” became the biggest debut of 2015 after it was launched Nov. 13, entering the Billboard 200 albums chart at #1 on first week adjusted sales of 649,000 copies. “Purpose” is Bieber’s sixth album to debut at #1, and the highest one-week sales tally of his career.

The album shattered the global Spotify record for most album streams in one week, with more than 200 million plays. Around the world, “Purpose” hit #1 on iTunes in over 100 countries, as singles “What Do You Mean,” “Love Yourself” and “Sorry” held strong inside the U.S. iTunes Top 10. Bieber stormed the U.K. singles with three singles in the top five, a feat no other artist has managed since John Lennon, posthumously, in 1981.

Bieber’s 50 city-plus “Purpose” tour will begin March 9 in Seattle and conclude July 18 at Madison Square Garden.

Coldplay — Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Chris Martin — have gone on to become one of the most popular music acts on the planet, selling more than 80 million copies of their six #1 albums. They’ve also filled their trophy cabinet with almost every major music award there is (including seven Grammys and eight BRITs). With a reputation for spectacular live shows, Coldplay have circled the globe many times over, playing to an ever-increasing army of fans in every corner of the world.

Missy Elliott, who was Team Pharrell’s adviser on “The Voice” this season,” is a groundbreaking solo superstar, pioneering producer/songwriter/singer/rapper, and cultural icon. The five-time Grammy Award winner — with nominations spanning three decades — has achieved unprecedented success, including U.S. sales in excess of 30 million. Elliott’s six studio albums (including 2001’s landmark “Miss E… So Addictive” and 2002’s blockbuster “Under Construction”) have each been RIAA-platinum certified or better, marking her as the only female rapper to achieve that milestone accomplishment. She has been featured on tracks from artists including Ginuwine, Ciara, K. Michelle, Demi Lovato, the Black Keys, J. Cole, G-Dragon, Fantasia, Monica, Busta Rhymes, Jazmine Sullivan, and of course, Katy Perry, with whom she famously teamed up for 2011’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) (Remix).”

Elliott joined Perry for the historic happening at the 2015 Super Bowl, wowing 118.5 million viewers with a medley of “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” and “Lose Control.” She has been heard on such recent tracks as Faith Evans’ 2014 single “I Deserve It,” Jack Ü’s 2015 “Take Ü There” and, most recently, Janet Jackson’s “Burn It Up!).”

Sam Hunt’s “Montevallo” topped the Billboard Country Albums chart in its first week and remains the best-selling debut album for a country artist since 2011. The album has so far produced three consecutive #1 platinum-selling singles with “Leave the Night On,” “House Party” and the double platinum “Take Your Time,” plus Hunt’s latest Top 15 and climbing platinum-selling single, “Break Up in a Small Town.” The album has spent 56 of the past 57 weeks in the Top 10 on the country album sales chart, with 45 of those weeks in the Top 5 and nine perched at #1.

The boundary-breaking star recently earned his first American Music Award in the all-genre New Artist of the Year category, and now, Hunt is Grammy-nominated for Best New Artist and Best Country Album for his gold-certified “Montevallo.”

The Weeknd, the Grammy Award-nominated multi-platinum alternative R&B game-changer, continues to set the pop world and charts ablaze with “Beauty Behind the Madness” recently being named Billboard’s Most Streamed Album of 2015. Additionally, on Billboard’s Hot 100, “The Hills” move was #1 on the charts for weeks replacing his own single “Can’t Feel My Face” following its three nonconsecutive weeks on top. This makes The Weeknd the first artist to rule the Hot 100 successively since 2014 and the first solo male to lead back-to-back on the Hot 100 since 2008. He also became only the 11th act to best himself at #1 over the course of the Hot 100’s 57-year history. Simultaneously, “The Hills” captures #1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. This solidifies him as the first male artist to rise to #1 with two singles in the same year since 2010.

So far this season, the Monday and Tuesday editions of “The Voice” have combined to average a 3.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 13.3 million viewers overall, to keep NBC the top broadcast network in 18-49 on both Monday and Tuesday nights so far this season. The Monday edition of “The Voice” is the season’s #1 alternative series in every key measure– adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
