TI’s Trap Music Museum Lands in Miami

TI’s Trap Music Museum (TMM) is set to bring an activation to Miami in the historic Overtown district.

TMM is a sub-genre of music that made waves in the music industry in the early ’90s and has since transcended world wide. Now, those in and around the Miami area can check out “Lil Trap House,” a 6-month pop-up version of the Atlanta museum with a Miami twist.

Featuring exhibits that display the Miami sound’s uniqueness, those showcased in this pop-up include the iconic City Girls for trailblazing the industry and rap legend Rick Ross.

Set in the historic black neighborhood in Miami, Overtown, The Trap Music Museum’s mission through this partnership with the community of Overtown is to add to the culture and the movement of uplifting black people and black businesses.

The Miami Trap Music Museum Pop-Up will be open at 920 NW Second Ave Miami, FL 33136 on Friday and Saturday from 4 pm – 12 am and Sunday 2 pm – 10 pm EST.
