New York designer Marc Jacobs and French heritage brand Armor-lux have collaborated on a limited-edition selection of items that combine the classic Breton striped merinière with fashion-minded silhouettes and whimsical details. Pieces include a unisex crewneck pullover, women’s blouson-sleeve sweater and women’s bloomer, all in signature navy and white stripes.
Marc Jacobs began designing under his own label in 1984. ‘The’ Marc Jacobs was subsequently established in 2019 as a celebration of eclecticism, variety and personal style. It is an ongoing collection of the high and low, the everyday and the extraordinary.
Armor-lux was founded in 1938 by Walter Hubacher in Brittany, France and has since been synonymous with the Breton striped marinière shirt.
Each item from the collaboration reflects both brands’ commitment to quality materials, thoughtful design and reimagining the classics.
