Insomniac, a continued champion for equality, diversity, and inclusion, is proud to recognize Pride month through participation in Los Angeles’ and Mexico City’s Pride parades. The famous Boombox Art Car and Insomniac’s iconic theatrical performers will take to the streets as a float for this weekend’s Mexico City Pride Parade. The event draws over a million people to the capital city’s streets to celebrate the pride and diversity of Mexico’s large LGBTQ+ community. Mexico City Pride’s main event, the Marcha de la Diversidad (March of Diversity), kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29 with a weeklong schedule of festivities.
On Sunday, June 9, thousands of people lined the streets of West Hollywood in the spirit of unity at LA’s iconic Pride Parade. Insomniac’s colorful troop of dancers, stilt-walkers and theatrical performers marched alongside the Boombox Art Car and Insomniac’s employees in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Showcasing smiles, cheers, laughs and most importantly, love, Insomniac’s central theme of “All Are Welcome Here” manifested itself throughout the entire city of Los Angeles.
Last month, the 2019 edition of Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, the world’s largest dance music festival, brought a sold-out crowd of 465,000 Headliners together for three nights Under the Electric Sky.
