Born and raised in New York City, Christopher began his career in 2014 interning for menswear brands in NYC. At 21 Christopher was assigned to an internship at Pyer Moss working closely with the designer and assistants, Christopher soaked in every information he was provided. Through the many experiences and adversity Christopher faced during his internship journey he gained the confidence to start his own company.
Christopher Lowman began as a project to reinvent the 1980’s rockstar by adding unique patterns and refining the fit. Christopher Lowman uses high-end materials, masculine form, unique pattern making, and modern tailoring to create luxury menswear. The Christopher Lowman collection is produced in New York City.
Before Christopher Lowman actually launched a full collection he has amassed support internationally from press such as NYLON ESPANOL, Bello, Indie, The Fashionisto, Huffington Post and many more. Christopher Lowman also gained the attention of celebrities like Chris Brown, Jake Miller, Aidan Alexander, Jr. Smith and many more.
In July 2017 Christoper launched his SS18 collection “Harvard Punkd” evolving around college students battling a chain of emotions throughout a semester. Since Christopher Lowman’s first fashion week debut collection have been featured in Vogue Paris, NY Times, iheart Radio, Huffpost etc.
For SS19 Christopher Lowman triumphantly returns with The Glorious Olympics SS19 collection that takes inspiration from the 1980’s summer Olympics. Fusing street style with luxury fabrics in bold colours & patterns, The Glorious Olympics revamps looks from the official Olympics opening ceremonies of that decade, re-imagining it for the modern age by merging sophisticated, clean lines & silhouettes with a touch of edge and featuring lambskin leathers mixed with neoprene, mixed media cow hides, golden tricot melons, pullovers and tracksuits all in unique shapes and textures.
