In case you forgot, the event is always a spectacular event. I can imagine, this year will only be better. This is where the Sophisticated, Educated, Chic, Black, Elites come to gather.
The collaborative efforts of The Vision Community Foundation (founder Bishop Oliver Clyde Allen, III and Rashad Burgess) with the United Progressive Pentecostal Church work together to provide services for under-served communities through Youth Mentorship and HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention and testing hundreds of people while linking reactive(s) to health care. They feed thousands of women, men and children through their Homeless Program, address Women’s Health through various Breast Cancer walks and awareness projects and provide education and training through our GED programs all while improving the lives of their community through different LGBT initiatives. Their grassroots organization utilizes all funds towards our programs & initiatives. The Black Tie Gala has given The Vision Community Foundation an intricate role in spearheading an evening for today’s trendsetters and tastemakers in community, church, business and health industries.
