The world premiere of the Bounce original movie Saints & Sinners: Judgment Day posted whopping increases in the time period and among its target audience in its world premiere on Sunday, February 14 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
The premiere telecast of Saints & Sinners: Judgment Day delivered 430K Persons 2+ (Up +96% versus P4W time period) and delivered 374K Households (+96%) and 158K P18-49 (+177%)
The movie had even stronger increases among Bounce’s target audience of African-American viewers: +173% in P2+, +167% in HH, +303% in P18-49, and +286% in P25-54. Saints & Sinners: Judgment Day was also the Top Five among AA viewers across all ad-supported cable networks: #4 in AA P2+, #5 in AA HHs, #4 in AA P18-49, and #5 in AA P25-54 beating such programs as Real Housewives of Atlanta (Bravo), Blue Streak (BET) and Queen Sugar (OWN).
Saints & Sinners: Judgment Day serves as a bridge to the all-new fifth season of the top-rated and enormously-popular Saints & Sinners series, which debuts on Bounce on Sunday, April 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The movie can be seen again on Bounce (Check listings here) and can also be streamed on Brown Sugar, Bounce’s popular streaming service, with the complete first four seasons of the series available anytime. Bounce will air a binge-viewing marathon of seasons one-four starting Thursday, April 8 leading up to the season five premiere.
Set against the backdrop of a large southern church, Saints & Sinners centers around the pursuit of power, intertwined with greed, deception, corruption, compromising sexual affairs, and murder. Vanessa Bell Calloway, Clifton Powell, Tray Chaney, Keith Robinson, J.D. Williams, Donna Biscoe, Christian Keyes, David Banner, Karlie Redd, Jasmine Burke, Dawn Halfkenny, and Karon Joseph Riley. The additions to the cast for season five include Gregory Alan Williams (Greenleaf, Chicago Med).
Saints & Sinners is produced in partnership with Swirl Film’s Eric Tomosunas & Ron Robinson (Behind the Movement: The Rosa Parks Story, Love Under New Management: The Miki Howard Story, Tales, Pride & Prejudice).
