It’s time to be Outsideeeeeeeee!!!
The Home Depot Backyard (HDBY), as part of its Arts and Culture collection presented by The Home Depot Foundation, is set to host the final event in the 2023 Piedmont Healthcare Summer Movie Series with BackYARD Fest, also known as Yard Fest, on July 22 from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Yard Fest is a celebratory event focused on promoting family, culture, and connecting the community on Atlanta’s Westside.
Like the Juneteenth event, Yard Fest will feature Truist Vendor Village, a showcase of small businesses and vendors from across the greater Atlanta region. Additionally, SweetWater Brewing will also host an immersive beer garden experience featuring their lineup of craft brews.
Headlining the entertainment for Yard Fest at The Home Depot Backyard will be a nightfall showing on the green of the movie Drumline, a 2002 Atlanta-based coming-of-age comedy starring Nick Cannon. Other activations include a kids’ zone with STEAM activities, games, food trucks, live performances, an outdoor roller-skating rink, interactive photo displays, giveaways, and more. Yard Fest at The Home Depot Backyard is free and open to the public, but registration is required for entry. Tickets are now available through the HDBY Eventbrite page HERE.
