Josh Lumsden Debuts “Waiting”

Independent DIY pop artist and acclaimed NYC-based producer Josh Lumsden, formally releases the new music video, “Waiting.”  The video release marks a close to the dramatic rollout of Lumsden’s debut EP, “SCION i” which featured genre-blending singles that enlisted LGBTQIA+ Icons including Drag Race Winner Yvie Oddly, trans icon Cottontail, and Australian pop-sensation Brendan Maclean. The final single, “Waiting”, is a downcast pop dream that turns violent, featuring melodic vocals and infectious harmonies. 

The DIY music video for “Waiting” (directed by Josh Lumsden & his partner Abraham Bec), toys with the idea of the afterlife and purgatory. The artist is seen soaring through a wormhole into the unknown, leaving the viewer to decide their personal interpretation.
