In earlier coverage of Jeane Marie, an artist celebrated for her captivating vocals and empowering stage presence, we shared her latest single, “Can’t Stop Sped Up – Sped Up.” The track is a high-energy anthem that showcases her versatile voice and unique style, further locking in her place as a standout artist on the 3RD Eye Recordings roster.

Of course, we had to follow up and get Jeane’s thoughts on the project, her career journey, and team

Career Journey and Collaborations

You’ve had an incredible career, from performing at the White House to your new single with 3RD Eye Recordings. How has your journey evolved, and what milestones stand out the most?

Honestly, I’m so grateful for the people who believe in me. I’ve been singing my whole life, but it wasn’t until my social media blew up that I started getting featured on movie soundtracks. I’ve been known as a rapper for a while, but I also sing in Arabic, Spanish, and Portuguese. One of my best achievements is performing at the Viper Room and recording the soundtrack for “Half Baked” totally high.

Your new single, “Can’t Stop Sped Up – Sped Up,” has a lot of energy. What inspired it, and how does it reflect where you are as an artist?

The track was inspired by a toxic relationship I couldn’t walk away from. The music video really showcases the highs and lows of that situation. It reflects where I’m at as an artist because I create vulnerable music that people can relate to. The cinematic video is exciting to say the least, despite it’s motivation Jeane Marie turned this into a triumph!

Working with 3RD Eye Recordings has been a big step for you. What drew you to the label, and how have they supported your growth?

I met Rodney and Kennii at the GRAMMYs this year, and after a great conversation, we built an amazing partnership.

You’ve performed on major stages and had your music featured on HBO and Netflix. How have those experiences shaped your approach to performing and recording?

I give my all to everything I do, and my personality always shines through in my performances.

Authenticity and Self-Reflection

Your music is rooted in authenticity. How do you stay true to yourself in the industry, and what does being ‘authentic’ mean to you?

Being authentic is just being yourself. There’s no one else I’d rather be. I don’t need to change to fit a mold or please anyone else. Take it or leave it—I am who I am.

You speak multiple languages and have overcome significant challenges. How do these experiences influence your music and your message?

My mantra is “love yourself first,” and through my music, I aim to teach people how to do just that.

You’ve had a personal transformation, including moving to L.A. and getting sober. How do these life experiences inform your music?

My journey includes everything from jail, divorce, losing a parent, and living in my car, to being kidnapped in the Middle East. All of these experiences shape the stories I tell through my music.

Creative Vision and Impact

Your mission is to show people how to love themselves. How do you convey this through your music?

My music is about not tolerating mistreatment, standing up for yourself, and loving yourself. I hope listeners take that away when they hear my songs.

With your background in beauty pageants, sports, and activism, how do these experiences shape your creative process?

Sports and pageants taught me discipline and showmanship. I’ve learned that my only competition is myself and that mindset drives how I approach my life and music.

Looking ahead, what are your biggest goals, both personally and as an artist?

I’m going to go on tour, win a GRAMMY, produce and act in films, and build a family. I see myself in movies, writing books, and continuing to release music while always promoting self-love. Our words are powerful, and I’m speaking my life into existence.
