I had a chance to attend the 2019 Music Business Empowerment Conference in Atlanta and it was an amazing time. Lots of talent, music executives, great information, and an awesome time.
Per the usual, Day 1 allowed the artist to get a chance to mix with the media and share their stories and projects with us. This is key for emerging talent as it puts them in front of many of the platforms that will be vital to their careers. Once the media rounds are complete, we have the chance to see the artist do what they do best and perform their craft.
Take a look at a few of the talent who hit the stage for #MBEC2019 as I give you my inside view on the stage.
Day 2 was filled with amazing panels that allowed for artist and industry elites to learn from some of the best to do it in their fields. It’s a day of education that goes beyond the general who, what, why and really dives into the how, when it best, and why it should be this way. It’s information that you can’t get in a classroom, nor on social media. I call it the #MBEC exclusive.
Here’s a snapshot at the jewels that were dropped and by whom.

Ending off the weekend there was an Awards Gala/Dinner and it presented an atmosphere of networking at a higher scale. MBEC allows the talent to get up close and personal with the execs and show who they are beyond the music, modeling, etc. Along with recognizing those execs who work hard and make dreams come true.
Make sure you stay connected with MBEC as you can get ready for 2020.
