Event Recap: Battle of The South 2019

Had a chance to partake in the enjoyment of the Battle of The South 2019 and it was an awesome experience. In case you aren’t familiar with the event, One Empreus Boxing Promotions took over the Atlanta Coliseum Friday, August 23, 2019, and it was AMAZING.

The evening was headlined with the World Boxing Foundation title fight featuring Justin “Big Time” Biggs battling Norberto Gonzalez for the WBF Silver Intercontinental belt in eight rounds. This was a fight to see loud, live and in living color. LoL!

For those who missed it, here’s a glimpse as to what took place. I couldn’t give you everything as you should have come, but I promise I took care of ya’ll.

Justin “Big Time” Biggs brought home the title and his whole team along with the entire crowd was LITTTTTT AF! Lil Bankhead hosted the event. Jameelah “Just Jay” and Deja Marie of The Hype Magazine was in the building. You know I was there. Tia Culver popped through in her catsuit and a host of other names. It was truly an amazing experience.
