Atlanta gets Turnt

Metro Wealth Films held an exclusive screening and red carpet premiere of the new film TURNT, starring and executive produced by Jamal “Gravy” Woolard, Torrei Hart, and Mann Robinson on Thursday, November 15, at Regal Cinema in Atlantic Station. The event was packed to capacity and kicked off with red carpet festivities covered by Rolling Out Magazine, Freddy-O, Hip Hop Weekly Magazine, Grip Magazine, Dash Radio, and several other media outlets.

The star-studded cast and crew were in attendance and included; Jamal “Gravy” Woolard, Torrei Hart, Lil Mo, Dennis White, Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander, Benzino, LA Love the Boss, Hot Boy Turk, Lil Bankhead, Calico Jonez, Chavante Mack, Johnnie Cabbell, Althea Heart, and Mama Cash, just to name a few. The screening was hosted by Streetz 94.5fm radio personality Lil Bankhead and the executive producers of the film who gave welcome remarks and encouraged attendees to post on social media using the hashtags #TurntTheMovie and #DirectedByMann.

Libarariers Stanford (Jamal “Gravy” Woolard) lives by the law of money, power, and respect. His younger brother Kenny had other dreams of being a star in the music industry. But these dreams were cut short due to senseless street violence. After the death of his brother, Kenny, Libaraiers found himself on a new unlikely journey as a rap artist. Raw talent coupled with his natural street persona birthed the stage name Rilla.
