GNAR prepares us for “Fire Hazard”

GNAR recently dropped his FIRE HAZARD mixtape via 10K Projects/Caroline. Listen HERE. FIRE HAZARD includes collaborations with Lil Yachty, Lil Skies, YBN Nahmir, Lil Tracy, and more. Production credits include Quality Control Music’s OG Parker, TM88, and Young Kio (Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road”). FIRE HAZARD comes in hot featuring his singles “Cabbage”, “Octane Sex”, and “Death Note (feat Lil Skies, Craig Xen).”

At only 22-year-olds the Atlanta phenomenon gained over 50 million streams, started his own clothing line, and makes doing kick flips and Nollies on a skateboard look easy. As for his sound GNAR is diverse whether he’s crooning about love in “Cabbage”, channeling rage in “On Sight”, or hustling in “War Paint”.  

“This is my first full-length project where all the songs were recorded just for FIRE HAZARD. Whereas for GNARLIF3, it was a collection of random songs,” says GNAR, “The concept came from just a warning of how much better everything I was doing became over the last year. FIRE HAZARD is a warning that I’m established and I ain’t going anywhere.” 

GNAR approaches everything with unrestrained ferocity and tireless grind. Coming out of East Atlanta he initially made his mark on the worlds of fashion and skateboarding by launching his own GNARCOTIC brand. Under the radar, he built the independent venture into a skate and streetwear phenomenon with collaborations alongside No Jumper and more.  

2018’s GNAR Lif3 saw him explode as a musical phenomenon. “Drop Top Benz” [feat. Lil Skies] cracked over 20 million streams with “Grave” [feat. Lil Skies] close on its heels at 11 million-plus. Not to mention, it boasted features by everyone from legendary blink-182 drummer Travis Barker to City Morgue’s ZillaKami. Along the way, he received praise from Vice, HighSnobiety, Hypebeast, Pigeons & Planes, and more.
