Greenbox, a Black-owned cannabis start-up from NYC, is setting a strong example of how the power of this new industry can be harnessed to support vulnerable communities. 

One of their co-founders, Andrew Farrior, recently spoke about social equity in cannabis on a panel at the Playboy Playhouse Event on 6/22. Sales from the event are benefitting The Trevor Project’s “50 Bills, 50 States” initiative to end gay conversion therapy in the U.S.

Greenbox is also funding scholarships for immigrants by donating proceeds from their fashion collaboration with legendary designer Brian Wood to the Ascend Educational Fund.
