The act of candle making can create safe spaces.

“I’ve always had an affinity with candles since childhood. It started with my mother always having a flame lit in her living room and the aromas occupying her entire apartment in Flatbush, Brooklyn. She would mix different soy and paraffin waxes then added her own perfumes to the candles then create a new enhanced smell.

After 7 years of researching and testing all different waxes, fragrance oils and candle making techniques; I created an all-natural vegan candle wax that doubles as a body butter. So now host a candlemaking workshop to share my Chandler findings with others so everyone can create their own signature scented candle.”
