Just in time for the Holidays, Fashion Icon K. L. Allen and King of Urban Media, DiamondKesawn have released the 30 minute story of
“H.E. the Film.”
H.E. is an LGBT based Short Film which focuses on Domestic Violence. Yes, Domestic Violence is a serious issue in all communities, however HE is used as a platform to shed light on Domestic Violence in the LGBT Community, as so many choose to ignore it and make comments such as “It’s just 2 men/women fighting.” This film is slated to be submitted to all national film festivals and not only present a great body of work but an eye opening conversation piece as well.
Synopsis: Talon Alexander Jordan and his friends visit Club Currency to celebrate his 27th birthday. What is meant to be a night of celebration amongst friends, turns into a night that changes Talon’s life forever. Talon, meets club promoter Raynard “RJ” Lennox JR who he believes is the love of his life. Three months later, after moving in together Talon begins to discover RJ has another side of him and ends up on an emotional roller coaster of physical and mental abuse that could end up costing him his life if he doesn’t get out.
H.E. has an amazing cast to say the least. H.E. is Created/Written/Directed and Executive Produced by Award Winning Celebrity Fashion Designer KL Allen, of popular Couture Fashion Brand Perfect “Population By: KL Allen.” The fashion forward designs produced by Mr. Allen has been featured on notable celebrities such as Amercian Idol and Grammy Award Winning Singer Fantasia Barrino, Reality Star and Supermodel Cynthia Bailey, Grammy Award Winning Singer Mya Harrison, Gospel Award Winning Group Mary Mary, Que known best as a member of male group ”Day 26”, Love & Hip Hop Stars Erica Dixon and Karlie Redd and more recently Kari Wells from Bravo’s new hit series Married to Medicine. “Population by KL Allen” provides a platform for this film to prosper as the reach also includes countless features in Magazines and National Television networks such as BET, VH1, MTV, BRAVO and OXYGEN as well as gracing the esteemed runway of New York Fashion Week several times.
