E! “Live From The Red Carpet” 01/10/2015

Only E! can bring today’s pop culture fans the real magic of the red carpet, and on Sunday, January 10th, E!’s signature series “Live From The Red Carpet” makes its 2016 debut at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards from the famed Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.  Join hosts Ryan Seacrest, Giuliana Rancic and the entire E! red carpet team as they bring fans around the world the most memorable celebrity interviews, surprise moments and unforgettable fashion live on-air, online and on social.

E!’s cameras are always on-hand to capture every can’t-miss celebrity encounter, and this year the network’s newest red carpet innovation, the “E! Glambot,” makes its big debut.  World-renowned music video director, Joseph Kahn (Taylor Swift’s “Out of the Woods”/“Bad Blood,” Britney Spears “Toxic”) has been instrumental in the planning around E!’s Golden Globes coverage, and his team will lead the network’s artistic direction on the day of the event – directing the stars as they create gorgeous cinematic-style portraits right on the red carpet, giving fans a truly unique front row experience.

As part of E!’s extensive multi-platform coverage, the network will feature more social engagement than ever via Periscope “Partyscopes,” where fans can broadcast their own viewing parties to potentially run within E!’s coverage, and Snapchat “Glam Snaps,” where E!’s Style Collective, which includes some of the biggest names in the beauty industry, will provide instant how-to’s of the hottest celebrity looks of the night.  Viewers can also chat about their red carpet experience in real-time with the E! hosts and fellow fans through Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for a chance for their posts to be read on-air or online.

Then, the following night, continue the Golden Globe celebrations with a special edition of “E! News,” followed by Melissa Rivers, Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, Margaret Cho and NeNe Leakes hilariously recapping and reviewing all of the night’s fashions and over-the-top ensembles on “Fashion Police.”

E! Online (www.eonline.com) will feature all the up-to-the-minute news, interviews, photos, style and beauty breakdowns, videos and social action from the event as it happens.  Additionally E!’s digital content team will bring exclusive behind-the-scenes Globe show moments that you won’t see on TV through E!’s “Live From the Red Carpet Livestream.”  Hosted by Will Marfuggi and Carissa Loethen, with appearances from TV expert Kristin Dos Santos and film aficionado Dave Karger, this show will air during commercial breaks throughout E!’s star-studded pre-show at www.eonline.com on Sunday, January 10th@ 6:00p ET and 3:00p PT.

This year, E! is creating the ultimate global red carpet party.  Viewers can be a part of the red carpet like never before with “Partyscopes” encouraging fans to share their own red carpet viewing parties via Periscope for a chance to be featured on E! Online.

Fans can catch every moment as the event unfolds and get exclusive behind-the-scenes content on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook using the hashtag #Eredcarpet and on Snapchat using the handle @e_news.  Snapchat followers will receive “Glam Snaps” in which E! Style Collective experts will reveal full breakdowns of a celebrity’s most sought after red carpet looks.  Additionally, Florido Basallo (Justin Bieber’s hairstylist), will go a step further with the “Glam Snaps” to give exclusive full tutorials on how to capture some of the most fabulous red carpet looks on E!
