Paula Campbell hits us with “Good Without You”

The reintroduction of R&B/HipHop/Soul singer Paula Campbell is long overdue! She touched us with soul searching songs like “Just A Man” and “Ain’t Nobody Stupid” in the earlier 2000’s and with club bangers like “How Does It Feel,” setting the mid-Atlantic region ablaze! Now showing off her beautiful vocals, the unique sound compared to sugar “gritty but sweet,” she speaks to the heart of every woman and girl who’s ever lost love. “Good Without You” says what you just can’t seem to explain.

About Paula Campbell

Known as the “1st Lady of Baltimore,” Paula Campbell is a singer/songwriter who is most noted in the city for her hit song, “How Does It Feel?” (shot to the number #1 spot for 8 weeks straight on urban mainstream radio in Baltimore, DC and Virginia) She also was on Baltimore’s radio station 92Q for a few years as an on-air personality. Paula is the voice of the Emmy Award Winning song, “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp.”

Paula is a single mother, with a daughter now attending Clark Atlanta University. Paula was raised on the west side of Baltimore, and attended Frederick Douglass High School, where she took voice lessons. As a teenage mother, she was able to use her gifts and talents to place her in rooms that ultimately changed her life. Paula’s music has always empowered women to be brave; her music is reflective of heartbreak, triumph and breakthrough. She has found ways to balance being a single-working mother chasing her dreams.

Paula takes prides in staying socially relevant and up-to-date on trending topics. Now residing in Atlanta, she is often called back to Baltimore (and in Atlanta) to fill in for radio hosts that need vacation time.

Recently, she performed in Baltimore at a voting registration campaign and received a standing ovation from thousands of local attendees. Paula has sold over 300,000 copies of her physical musical work and continues to be a mainstay.
