Iconic Atlanta MC Gucci Mane is widely ranked among the most gifted rappers of his generation. He made a triumphant return with critically acclaimed “Everybody Looking,” coming out at #1 on Soundscan/Billboard’s Top Current Albums chart. Gucci Mane released his book titled “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane” on September 19th, followed by album “Mr. Davis” on October 13th. He has made a number of high profile TV appearances throughout 2017, including Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and an exclusive interview on MTV News. In addition, his wedding special and 10-episode reality series, Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka’Oir: The Mane Event premiered exclusively via BET and received the highest ratings for a premiere in BET history. Just two months after the release of “Mr. Davis,” Gucci surprised fans by releasing his street album “El Gato: The Human Glacier.” 2017 saw Gucci Mane as one of hip-hop’s most prolific and admired artists, which will only continue in 2018.

Closing out 2017 with a certified BANG! Machine Gun Kelly has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with! His current album bloom is currently gold and has sold over 6 million worldwide and ushered in a #1 hit on pop radio with the album single “Bad Things.” A collaboration with singer Camila Cabello and produced by The Futuristics (Chris Brown/Bruno Mars), “Bad Things” also owned the Billboard Hot 100 list by staying strong for 16+ weeks. The song has amassed more than 245m+ streams globally with a radio audience of 145m and is now RIAA certified platinum.

On his records, Fetty Wap ’s wobbly voice cuts through trap instrumentals and melodies, making his honest and aggressive lyrics a staple of Jersey’s rap scene. His likability comes from his influences, which are Gucci Mane (his name pays homage to Gucci’s nickname Guwop) and other trap innovators such as Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J and Project Pat. His flow on “Trap Queen,” captures the same feelings as his idols, and has ignited remixes from the likes of French Montana, Yo Gotti and Rick Ross. It’s a respectable career trajectory for someone who uploaded freestyled verses of “Trap Queen” to SoundCloud in March 2014. Fetty Wap says of his rapid ascent. “A lot of people don’t get the opportunity, so I’ma be a superstar until my star don’t burn no more .”

One song can change everything, and after the release of Desiigner’s platinum debut single “Panda”, Sidney Royel Selby III went from a local Brooklyn hook-man to a breakout rap star with a #1 Billboard single and a record deal with Kanye West. In 2016, “Panda” had become the year’s most streamed song across all platforms and earned nominations for BET’s Hip Hop Award for Best Track of the Year, People’s Champ and Best Hip Hop Viideo, the American Music Award for Favorite Song, Rap/Hip Hop and Video of the Year, the MTV Video Music Award for Best Hip Hop Video, andthe Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance. As he steps into the next phase of his music, Desiigner is fully focused on turning all of this “Panda” success into a legendary career.
